Introduction From The Headteacher

Welcome to the Brunts Academy. We are resolute in our vision to open minds, creating opportunities for all to believe in themselves, achieve their potential and develop the skills needed to succeed and enjoy life.

We will develop our students so that they have the intellectual habits, fundamental core values and qualities of character to succeed in the 21st century.

We will do this by ensuring that:

  • We develop and nurture the talent and interests of every individual.
  • We have a scholastically excellent culture built around our core values of- Ambition, Integrity, Inclusivity, Endeavour and Resilience.
  • We deliver a curriculum that allows students to develop their knowledge and skills whilst achieving a range of qualifications.
  • We provide high quality teaching and learning experiences for all.

We want everyone to be proud to be associated with The Brunts Academy and The Evolve Trust, due to the high quality experiences and opportunities we provide.

All of this is only possible by working in close partnership with parents/carers to ensure each individual student receives the most appropriate personalised support.

We look forward to welcoming you into our academy to see the great experiences that happen here and how your child can be part of our learning journey.

  • At the Brunts Academy, as part of the Evolve Trust, we work on a daily basis to turn ‘I cant’s in to I cans’.
  • We want to create curious minds whilst developing the skills for learning and life. We ensure that all of our school community are proud
  • All young people are entitled to a first class education and this is irrespective of starting points, postcode, financial disadvantage or Special Educational Need.
  • Our young people at Brunts are provided with the very best educational provision and we endeavour to ensure equity with their more advantaged peers so they can achieve well
  • The values of Ambition, Integrity, Inclusivity, Endeavour and Resilience run through everything we do and are lived every day. We believe these are the bedrock of supporting our young people.
